My voice may be small but that doesn't mean it has to be quiet-

Creation is a way to fight back against darkness. In a climate where the loudest get heard, the most violent get the most attention, it's hard to have a voice. Social media has become state media and can feel like a bottomless void. I am not an influencer, I am not a politician, and I am certainly not a billionaire. What can you do but retaliate the only way you know how. Create not destroy. Hope not despair. Build not break down. And never give in. Starting something new in this mess seems antithetical but it's a chance to stand up, to say something and actively participate in Creating one small act of defiance at a time…

What do you do when you are no influencer, no billionaire, no politician, no voice loud enough to be heard? You say it anyway. You say it anyway you can. And you keep going.

As artists, makers, and writers deciding not to feel helpless in an overwhelming situation often leads to creation. We've created a line of totes and T-s to say it anyway. If you are like me and can't always find the right thing to say, sometimes saying what you think in a different way is the best way to go. These T's's and totes(and sweats, and mugs) stand in the awkward silences. We will continue adding new designs to fight back despair, to stand up and create as an act of defiance as we strive to be strong and say it so maybe you can too. If one can, Toucan(see what we did there?). It is becoming increasingly clear that social media is closeting the truth so why not wear yours, plus you don't have to hang it up if you don't want to.

In case you were wondering, Toucans are a symbol of playfulness, intelligence, and freedom- the perfect representative for what we stand for. He might be an odd bird, but then the best sort always are.
